What Can I Bring?

The First United Methodist Church Food Pantry distributed a variety of shelf-stable groceries, so we are requesting for items like:

- Cereal & Pancake Mix

- Canned vegetables & fruit

- Canned meats

- Low sodium soups, chili, stews

- Dried rice & beans

- Rice

- Canned milk

- Pasta & pasta sauce

- Mac & cheese

- Mashed potato mix

- Boxed dinner mixes

- Crackers

- Peanut butter

- Jelly

Regardless of whether it's a couple of cans or a cart full of groceries, every donation helps us fill the Ford and make a difference!

Monetary donations are also welcome throughout the month.

We’re Giving Back, Too!

Fill a Ford isn’t just about what we collect at the dealership, Mike Carpino Ford is adding to the giving all month long.

$100 for Every Vehicle Sold

Every customer who purchases a new or pre-owned vehicle during September can choose to have the donation made in their name or anonymously.

The pantry estimates that $100 can provide approximately six bags of groceries. So every vehicle sold creates an opportunity to make an additional impact right here in Columbus.

Round Up For A Reason

Service customers will have the opportunity to round up their service bill and add the difference to our donation!

Community Food Drive

We’re collecting nonperishable food items that will help support First United Methodist Church Food Pantry and our neighbors.

How They Keep Everything Local

Donations play an important role in keeping those bags stocked throughout the year. When the pantry receives monetary donations, those funds are used to purchase groceries locally, supporting Columbus businesses while putting those groceries back into the community!

A Message From First United Methodist Church

As our Fill a Ford partner, First United Methodist Church shared what community support and this partnership means to their pantry:

“As our economy changes and the cost of groceries increase, we continue to receive requests for food assistance each month.

A goal of First United Methodist Church is to be an outreach to our community in supplying food to those in need and work to resolve hunger issues.

We appreciate the generosity of Mike Carpino Ford and their efforts in collecting donations. Your contribution helps make it possible for us to minister to those who need assistance.

On behalf of the families we serve…we thank you. May God Bless you.”

Want To Get Involved At The Pantry?

The First United Methodist Church Food Pantry also welcomes volunteers!
