Over the past 20 years, Ford has donated over 200 vehicles to the DAV in order to assist with transporting sick and disabled veterans to VA medical centers for access to health care and services.

Ford has maintained a 94-year relationship with the DAV ever since the company’s founder, Henry Ford, donated 50 Model T’s to assist veterans back in 1922.

“These vehicles will be used by volunteers nationwide to ensure our wounded heroes get to and from medical appointments. Without this donation and program, many of these veterans would go without the medical care they earned,” states Moses A. McIntosh Jr, national commander of the DAV.
